"I've been riding my entire life, and it was inevitable at an early age that equestrian style would seep into the way I dress for everyday. Riding pants, boots, and jackets are so classic - on the horse and off." -Maggie DeFilippo, Seasoned Horseshow Champion
I spent last weekend as a guest in Wellington, Florida, a beautiful riding community just west of Palm Beach. For those who spend their winters there, the equestrian style radiates from the horse shows and polo matches and into everyday life. It is a classic, very "Ralph Lauren" way of dressing, and one that I have personally embraced ever since I stepped foot into a riding barn at age 9. Here are my favorite riding-inspired pieces, great for both country and city life.
